Shining the Light – Together for a Better Papakura
A letter from the Papakura Local Board (as I live and vote in Papakura) yesterday while I was busy shovelling garden mix into our new raised vegetable garden beds.

Back in reply to that Local Board letter:
I am looking forward to do my part via supporting the Papakura Long Term Plan to make Papakura a better place. I will endeavour to do my part in assisting the Local Board in achieving its goals mentioned in the letter embedded above through whatever means I can.
Together we can work together for a better Papakura.
However when I typed this post I saw this letter from my local Manurewa/Papakura Ward Councillor Calum Penrose:
Seems the Councillor, the Local Board, businesses, NGO‘s and residents of Papakura have quite a fight against Town Hall, The Mayor and the bureaucracy in order to make Papakura a better place. However again I will do my part where I can to assist the Councillor and my Local Board in making Papakura a better place.
