Family Pass Available for Christmas in the Park

 

A response has come back from Auckland Transport in regards to my concerns on the Family Pass not being available for Christmas in the Park.

 

Basically it said the Family Pass will be available as per-normal for Christmas in the Park:

Family Pass

$24.00

Unlimited train travel. Available after 9.00am on weekdays and anytime on the weekends and public holidays. Family consists of 1 adult and up to 5 children or 2 adults and up to 4 children travelling together. (Note: the group must include at least one child aged under 16 without ID, or between 16 and 19 years with a valid Student ID card). Family passes are only available from ticket offices at Britomart, New Lynn, Newmarket and Papakura train stations and can be purchased in advance.

 

I would like to thank Auckland Transport for their response and clarification on the matter. I would also like to thank AT for acting promptly on the matter as well. Families can be reassured now that the Family Pass is available for this particular event and according to the letter – “until further notice” providing it is not before 9am on a weekday. 

 

As for me, no I am not going to Christmas in the Park folks – I am off to go see Skyfall and have dinner with my wife 😀
