Auckland Unitary Plan Hearing Panel Procedural Minute 6

In Relation to Site Specific Changes, Regional Policy Statement, and Rural Urban Boundary Submissions

 

This is an important one if you have submitted in relation to the following with the Unitary Plan:

Now it is dealing with site specifics as well as changes to the Rural Urban Boundary. I am not sure if this is dealing with whole-scale rezoning of a large area such as I did with Manukau City Centre and immediate surrounds. I might send an email to the Hearings Panel for clarification.

 

If you have submitted on site specific provisions in the Unitary Plan (including the Rural Urban Boundary) then I highly recommend reading the Procedural Minute as embedded below

 

It is noted that Council has developed a spatial mapping tool to illustrate sites that have been asked for a zone or schedule change from the Proposed Unitary Plan. The Hearings Panel are looking at using the tool in the following circumstances:

I see Point 19-iii looks at both site specific and wider change requests like mine in regards to the Manukau Super Metropolitan Centre zone.
