I have picked up Luke from Transport Blog is doing a couple of posts on Manukau City Centre. His first one on walking around Manukau can be seen here: Walking in Manukau. His next one on cycling around Manukau is coming soon. Cue: it is not pretty walking or cycling around Manukau in its current form trust me I have tried. That said the Local Board is working through their Area Plan and how to make Manukau a more humanised place. 

With Manukau to become one of Council’s 10 Spatial Priorities under the 2015-2025 Long Term Plan things will surely get interesting (as seen below)
