Talking Auckland Council Budgets
Last night on the All About Auckland Show I was along side Rod Oram in talking about the 2015-2025 Long Term Plan the Mayor has recently announced to the City. We know that the Mayor is looking at around $2.9 billion work of cuts with both the Parks, Community and Culture, as well as Auckland Transport facing upwards of between 33-39% percent cuts. This is on top on constant Main Stream Media reports of Council staff costs continuing to increase despite pressures onto the Long Term Plan.
