Because they do not look like they are being spent in Addison

When I wrote the Updates on Takanini-Addison Area post I had a few questions come in about where the Development Contributions from the Addison Development have exactly gone. Put it this way I am not seeing new pocket parks, new play grounds, a new library, a new station, and some better pedestrian crossing facilities going up in Addison as it continues its development. The only tangible contribution seen so far is a set of traffic lights and new curbing along Walters Road paid for by the Takanini Village development.

So in light of the “Mayor back to face row over local board cash” and the “Local Boards Fire Shot Over Mayor’s Bow” situation the question needs to be asked:

Where Did the Addison Development Contributions Go?

Hopefully not to some vanity project on the Waterfront…….
