In this podcast I look back to the year that was with Auckland Council’s Governing Body. While not a great year for the collective for some individual Councillors it was their year although for some it was good and others bad.

So who got Councillor of the Year?

Who got the special mention?

And who were the three villains so to say…

Find out in the final Weekend Analysis for 2014:

The Weekend Analysis will be back late January 2015 when the Governing Body and the committees fire back up.

I hope you have enjoyed The Weekend Analysis podcasts. Feedback on them can be left in the comments below.

Otherwise do enjoy the Summer break everyone. Talking Auckland will be going into Summer Series mode at the conclusion of the final 2014 Governing Body meeting next Thursday.

  1. Hmmmmm… a bit harsh on Linda Cooper, IMO. As one of her constituents I’m reasonably pleased with her performance this year. She’s done a pretty good job of representing the West, all things considered. Villain of the year? I could think of other candidates more deserving of that award.

    1. Will leave it relative opinion.
As I noted in the podcast I gave it to Cooper for two reasons
      1) Double flip flopping
      2) Should have caucused before that 17-3 trouncing

If you are going to refer to Len I left him out specifically and will cover that next week on the final Sunday Roast podcast. For now I am focusing on the Councillors
