LGOIMA On Southern Stations Back

Announcement Coming

Auckland Transport has replied to my Local Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA) request to the southern stations (that is Te Mahia and Glenora Road):

So a public decision in four weeks while Te Mahia stays open.

Not happy with Te Mahia but okay will wait the four weeks then go hit up Auckland Transport against for the Manukau South Link (last Main Stream Media story on it is here: http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/local-news/manukau-courier/64232816/Train-transfer-a-hassle-for-disabled

All things considered Auckland Transport are doing things which deserve credit and not annoy the heck out of me – at least. There is more exciting news coming through within the next four weeks in regards to public transport – especially in the South as well 😀

    1. Yes.

I asked Auckland Transport on Monday at a Have Your Say Session with the following:

Te Mahia stays open but no certainty in her future beyond the next three years

Three new stations on the way between Papakura and Pukekohe (not sure if it included the existing Pukekohe upgrade) within next five to seven years

New station is to be built at Tironui site in medium to long term (5-7 years)

That is all I go for now. Pressure now comes to the Long Term Plan and Central Government to speed things up
