It seems our uncanny Mayor has yet again pulled off another deal from the brink, something Mayor Len Brown is known to do. In this instance it seems a deal might have been struck on the Port wharves extension saga and an Extraordinary Meeting of the Governing Body has been called for (not set yet in the Agenda Papers).

What is not known yet is how this will affect The Future Port Study previously alluded to and being sped up owing to the current Port saga.

I suppose we will know once the Extraordinary Governing Body meets most likely next week.
