To be honest though why Council is trying to talk to Bridges when it is the Finance Minister who holds the cheque book in the first place.

Our sole attention needs to be on Bill English who is reasonable and quite logical (you don’t have to agree with his policies but he is pragmatic). Win over English and the rest fall in behind.
