In general agreement but seeking to split the Residential Zones
Next month I will be attending my second of three hearings to the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan. First up was the Centres Zones earlier this month, next month is the Residential Zones and in March is the Rezoning Exercise which builds on the previous two Hearings I would have attended.
I have embedded below my Primary Evidence that I will be presenting to the Unitary Plan Hearings Panel next month on the Residential Zones. Given that the Council’s Primary Evidence for the Residential Zones I am in general agreement with my Primary Evidence is not as large as what it was for the Centre Zones (12 pages instead of 60+ last time).
The main change I am seeking this time is splitting the Residential Zones out that would in my opinion as a Geographer allow the Council’s proposed Residential Objectives and Policies to be achieved better than the existing proposed Residential Zones.
