On the day that two candidates are announced to run in the Local Elections next year (see: Auckland Future Announces First Two Candidates for #Auckland2016) that we see this gem on the Auckland Future website:

Nice to know that a Centre-Right ticket was being truthful in stating that if they get a majority onto the Governing Body of Auckland Council that they will enact a policy that consists of:

  • Reining in rate increases and improved service delivery

I believe they were meant to be saying:

  • Limiting Rates increases
  • Improving Service Delivery
