Slowly but surely cycling spreads its wings across the City
I always find things like the Rave in today’s Herald bringing a 😀 :

With proper infrastructure in place and policies like the Central Government Urban Cycle Program/Fund helping urban areas get more connected cycling infrastructure the uptake and enjoyment of cycling (and associated health benefits) continue to rise.
And hey even in simulators like Cities Skylines the effects of policy and quality infrastructure boosts numbers cycling while reducing congestion through the City:
Cycleway linking Layton Shores with the main City
Main road and cycleway connecting Layton Shores and the main City
Cycling infrastructure is taken seriously in Layton City with cycle paths and lanes rolled out extensively through the city
It is about 10-12km between the main City and Layton Shores so why not cycle
