Unitary Plan open days start next week
Auckland Council is running a series of open days, starting next week, to help people understand the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan.
The open days will include displays and seminars on key topics, hard copies of the text and maps, internet access to the plan and experts on-hand to answer questions.
Penny Pirrit, manager of regional and local planning at Auckland Council says the open days will be helpful for anyone wanting to understand the proposed plan so they can make a submission.
“Council staff will be at the events to explain how the plan has changed following feedback on the March 2013 draft. They will also be able to walk people through this more formal process of making a submission,” she says.
Dates and locations for the open days are below:
Location | Date | Time |
Orewa service centre | 4 November | 1pm-8pm |
Auckland Central Library | 11 November | 1pm-8pm |
