So have we actually asked people who would be actually affected by any changes to the Port?

The Port debate has flared up again with the “famous,” “leaders” and probably just about everyone on the Auckland Isthmus and lower North Shore having an opinion on port operations and reclamation.

But have we asked or going to ask some residents in the South (and West) and are we going to ask industrial chiefs who rely on the port?

If they say no to reclamation then the debate has legitimacy to it.

So is the Herald and Councillor Chris Darby going to ask the South, and the industrial chiefs who might just rely on the port for their opinion?
