Electric Trains were No Show on the Manukau Line

Last night the Electric Train fleet as part of a limited non-fanfare roll-out were meant to ply the Manukau Line for the off-peak evening services. This limited roll out was both to phase in the Electric’s into revenue service and carry out further tests on the Manukau Line before full services in September/October.

Sadly this did not happen.

Apparently the limited roll out on the Manukau Line has been delayed for an unspecified time.

 

I still have the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act requests out (LGOIMA Update [Updated]) with Auckland Transport in the 10 day grounding of the fleet last month.
