First Auckland Development Committee for 2015

Talking Plan Changes and Cost of INFRASTRUCTURE

On Thursday the Auckland Development Committee will meet for the first time for 2015. The agenda and attachments are below for your reading.

While the agenda looks small the attachments at 310 pages certainly isn’t. The attachments contain the two big items although the City Centre Integration Update is bound to wind up Councillor Chris Darby as QEII Square is mentioned again.

The two big items are looking at a plan change covering some 640ha of land in Clevedon, as well as Cost of Residential Servicing study. I will take a look at the servicing piece before Thursday and see what is in it.

My first live Tweeting service for 2015 will also take place from the Committee. I shouldn’t expect too much drama like yesterday’s Regional Strategy and Policy Committee.

Also if the Unitary Plan Hearings Panel have released their interim recommendations on the Regional Policy Statement I will get it up into the blog as soon as practical.
