Four Information Requests With Auckland Transport

What is happening in Southern Auckland

With the elections focus returns back to Southern Auckland and the next three years ahead. With also the Auckland Transport Alignment Program in place outlining major transport projects over the next thirty years the focus return to local issues particularly in the Papakura area.

To get my bearings on where things are officially with transport project in Papakura so I know where to start with advocacy work I have four Local Government Official Information Act requests with Auckland Transport. These LGOIMA’s are due back mid-November as the Council gets back to full strength with the Governing Body and Local Boards all sworn in and settling down. Two of the LGOIMA’s are on stations, one is on the Great South Road, and the other is on the conduct of a Councillor-elect in dealing with a bus stop issue in the area.

Once the LGOIMA’s are back I will post them into the blog with commentary attached.

And away she goes on her maiden trip from Papakura to Britomart on the Southern Line.
