Southern Auckland’s Future Being Mapped Out
OPINION: Some big changes are on the way for the people and businesses of Southern Auckland (between Takanini and Pukekohe) as the city continues to boom. With 870 new residents are arriving per week, businesses are looking for places to set up shop and the pressures on green space and physical infrastructure (water, waste water, and transport) will become more acute.
Enter the Drury – Paerata – Pukekohe Structure Plan: a road map on how all that yellow Future Urban Zone land will be developed over the next thirty years.
